Safe Sex Packets in China

Four star hotels in Yiwu, China aren't exactly what we'd expect of them in the United States. They tend to look like highway motels, not so much as a second thought put forth in their décor. The same is not said for their amenities however, according to a blogger's account on the place.

The Yindu Hotel looks like a Super 8 with some small Chinese details. But, a distinguishing difference are the little sexual accommodations found in the bathroom:

Upon closer inspection you can see that on the lid of the commode there is a pack of tissues, 2 packs of condoms (one local and one durex), and 2 other packages, one labeled `only for man' and the other labeled `only for women'. At this point I realized that this hotel and probably this very room has been the intersection point for some pretty sketchy liaisons. I guess traveling businessmen are notorious for their late night activities and it is commendable or the hotel to have provided paraphernalia that advocates safe sex. But what were these other 2 items? Close up it is apparent that these products are made by the `Chian Ningbo Knowyoubird Clean-Keeping Co. LTD'. They are also apparently marketed under the 'Know You Bird' brand name.

But the hotel didn't stop there, there were also unidentifiable packages that turned out to be STD reducers by 99.9 percent. Magic potions in other words. Looks like the money that would have gone toward décor went instead toward pharmaceutical wizardry. So you decide, what's better?
