The Somerset Inn, Troy MI: Ask For What You Want

I was invited to Troy, Michigan, to be a guest speaker at a holiday party. Since it was the first time that someone other than my employer was paying for my travel expenses, I was extra-open to taking their accommodation suggestions. The event was to be held at a McCormick and Schmick's near the Sommerset Collection, an upscale mall that included stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Marshall Field's, Neiman Marcus, and Tiffany. The closest hotel to this area was The Somerset Inn, which they recommended. I thought that the web site was impressive, but I wasn't going to make any reservations until I saw what I could do for my Mileage Plus account.
