Closest Accomodations to Mount St. Helens

Looking for the perfect place to watch the next volcanic eruption? According to their website, The Eco Park Resort is Mount St. Helens' closest full service lodging facility.

Now we know that the USGS recently reported that a Mount St. Helens eruption is no longer imminent, however, this sucker is going to blow at some point, and if you are a scientist, or a storm chaser, (um, maybe these folks are referred to as "eruption chasers") then you are going to need a place to crash close by the volcano.

The Econo Park Resort offers log cabins, tent sites, RV parking, and even horse parking (do folks still use horses for transportation?). Furthermore, if the volcano doesn't blow, your trip doesn't have to. You can always take part in a cool looking "Tent and Breakfast Tour", or a strange looking "Logger Dinner Show".

We assume resort operators are selling shirts emblazoned with some sort of catch phrase.  Maybe something like this:

"I came for an eruption, but all I saw was a logger show."

We don't even know what that means, but you get the gist...
