NY Times Heads To An Inn With Gorge Views

NY Times scribe Katia Hetter recently sniffed around the semi new Cave B Inn at SageCliffe in Eastern Washington's wine country.
A retired neurosurgeon opened the property back in April. The place is two hours east of Seattle, set above the Columbia River. Katia snagged a river view suite with high barrel ceilings, exposed beams, and a leather coach. A flat screen TV and stone fireplace complete the suite--sweet.
There is free WiFi, but it wasn't working for Katia--bummer.
Her bottom line on this place:
Despite the hotel's growing pains, the spectacular geography along the Columbia River is worth the visit.
We would add one thing: if you want to overlook the gorge, book a cavern room.
Enjoy.
