Accor Eco Resort Coming Near the Penguins Down Under

Phillip Island off the coast near Melbourne, Australia, is known around the world for a strange combination--fairy penguin colonies and a Grand Prix circuit. If you're more on the penguins' side you'll be interested to hear that Accor's All Seasons chain is opening the All Seasons Eco Resort Phillip Island in May this year.

Self contained studios and two and three bedroom villas will be available with very reasonable opening rates, starting at just $100 for a studio with spa. A pool and gym are on site and the resort will be surrounded by bike tracks and walking paths.

The "eco" part really kicks in with the design of the whole resort land, with a wetlands area being created to assist with storm water management, and a large woodlands conservation area protects a small forest of old gum trees. And of course, all with no harm done to those cute and cuddly penguins.
