Four Seasons London Is Finally Open

D day is upon us! That’s right the Four Seasons London Hotel at Park Lane has finally opened its doors and don’t the staff look happy about it? This photo was posted on the hotel’s Facebook this morning to show the world the hotel is well and truly open.
The revamped building is so different that it is actually being marketed as a new hotel with designer Pierre-Yves Rochon creating a “classical contemporary” look. The 192 guestrooms will all feature wood panelling, dressing-room closets and marble bathrooms. The hotel is also up to speed on its in-room tech with 42” LCD TVS, WiFi and a self-controlled computerised system for the lights and air con in all rooms.

The Four Seasons London Now Re-opening January 31

We’ve been watching the Four Seasons London Hotel at Park Lane closely since it announced it’s makeover back in May. Mainly because the hotel transformation will be so big that it’s actually being marketed as a ‘new hotel’.
The website has been promising a late 2010 opening since August. But when we last checked we heard reservations were being taken for January 15 and beyond. And it looks like the Four Seasons needs just a touch more time as reservations are now being taken for January 31st 2011.
The good news is that the hotel’s Twitter feed recently confirmed this to be the opening date. So we’re hopeful the hotel will open later this month. In fact we only have four weeks to wait!
