Room with a Killer View: Bora Bora Nui

We are suckers for a room with a killer view. We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. Let's help out our fellow hotel mavens by uploading rooms with killer views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. Our friends over at View from the Wing pointed us to this killer view from "Room" 105 at the Bora Bora Nui, which is actually an overwater bungalow. This shot was taken during sunrise.

It's almost like walking on water!

Escape From LA: Bora Bora

Where: Point Raititi, NuNue, Bora Bora, French Polynesia, 98730

We have never needed an escape from LA more than we do right now. The whole town has been crazy for the past week with actors, assistants, stylists, agents and other A-listers whipping the place into a frenzy before the Oscars. Not to mention we had a couple of rainy days and everyone knows that Angelenos cannot function in wet weather.

With our last "trips" taking place in two busy cities--Paris and Tokyo--this time our Escape from LA is taking us to a place where we can just chill. Which is why we are headed to Hotel Bora Bora in the French Polynesian Islands--just an eight and a half hour flight away. And we are throwing down the big bucks for one of their fifteen overwater bungalows.
