Two days after opening, HotelChatter made it into the W London Leicester Square. So what’s it like? Well it’s shiny, sparkly and slightly (intentionally) trashy with lots of leather, dark lighting and neon lights. The public areas are alot smaller than we thought but that’s OK, we don’t mind getting intimate with the celebs, especially when the lights are so low.

The most immediate thing you notice? There are mirror balls everywhere: in the entrance, reception, on every floor in the form of giant numbers, a megaball in the bar, Wyld, and even the door numbers are made from miniature balls.

Finally, A Glimpse Into The World of W London

Last week Mr W was doing the dishes and this week, according to his Facebook status, he's being ironing his shirt which can only mean one thing - the W London Leicester Square is going at full throttle for its opening in four days time.

The website finally has some photographs uploaded and we have to agree that the public areas, at least, are looking Wonderful. The elevator bank (above) is blingtastic with more mirror balls than Studio 54 and we finally get a glimpse of the Union Jack-shaped shelves where the dishes are going:
