If you are going skiing in Lech Austria you are not only going to want to check out hotels close to the mountain, but also look at resorts that can ease the burn of a long day on the slopes.

Hotel Berghof offers rustic inn style lodging within close proximity to both the town and the mountains.

The hotels recently updated spa, dubbed "vitality world", is where things get interesting.

Steam baths, a sauna with a stone oven, a 'refugium' with waterbeds for relaxation are all offered. Furthermore, by the pool you will find heated lounge chairs and adventure showers--use your imagination.

Throw in views of Tux Glacier and you've got a ski destination lodge with plenty of rejuvenation opportunities for your aching body. Furthermore, if you are ski adverse, Lech also offers famous nighttime toboggan rides and plenty of bars.  Let's see, bars, nighttime toboggans, waterbeds, adventure showers, heated loungers, oh and ski slopes--we will let you decide how to mix all these ingredients.

Celebrity Scoop: Renee Zellweger at the Hotel Arlberg

Where: Lech, Austria
February 5, 2004 at 12:26 AM | by jenleo | 0 Comments

Last week a friend of mine found Renee Zellweger at The Hotel Arlberg in Lech, Austria. Renee is there to film the sequel to the hugely successful Bridget Jones's Diary. Word on the street was that the ever so dapper Colin Firth was also there. A few google searches, and I was able to turn up some pictures.

The Hotel Arlberg is a five star hotel nestled in the snowy mountains of the Austrian Alps. Surrounded by more than 100 miles of off-trail ski runs, Lech and it's neighbor, Zurs, are commonly frequented by British royalty.
