Irish Spas Are Smilin'

Hotels wanting to look modern, and chic are jumping on the spa bandwagon. It seems that even 1897 Irish inns are adding spas to give them new life.
The Park Kenmare, which was originally built for train stopovers, is the new hotspot for spa stopovers. The current proprietors decided to add the spa for their 25th year of business. So in hotels, the 25th anniversary is "spas"?
The new $6 million spa, Samas, which is for hotel guests only , offers unique features such as an underground candle-lit entrance. Furhtermore, they've got an infinity pool, offer reflexology, and massage. But The New York Times reports:
The treatments were disappointing. One masseuse balked at giving a deep-tissue massage, and a reflexology session lacked the pressure to have any significant effect.
What do the Irish have against a little deep tissue? Other amenities such as, small TVs and instant hot water in the showers try to make up for the fear of deep tissue. However, no WiFi, just one computer for guest use? Ouch. Well, maybe you should log off for a while, right?
Instead of geeking out over the Internet, mayb you could pick up your sticks and take advantage of the nearby golf courses.
