Service and showers questioned at Uncle Billy's Kona Bay Hotel Resort

Sounds like Kona Bay went low-flow. Unstable showers have to be right up there with terrible service, as far as hotel maven complaints go. Sounds like this hotel hit the quinella during asnpear2u's recent stay.

My family and I went on vacation to Kona, Hawaii. After our long trip on the plane I was looking forward to relaxing in the Kona Bay Hotel Resort. We walked into our room and it was half cleaned, at best. The room looked nothing like what we saw on their website. The room had a mildew oder and ants were everywhere! There were hard green water stains on the sink and toilet. We had to change rooms 3 times in 2 days. And all 3 rooms had the same problems. We needed extra towels, they would not bring them up to us, we had to go down 4 flights of stairs to get the towels and back up 4 flights on stairs to our room. The Hotel only had 1 elevator; and our room happened to be way on the other side of the Hotel. The water in the Hotel was unstable; so when taking a shower the water would go from boiling hot, to icy cold, and then icy cold back to boiling hot. The water pressure from the shower head couldn't be any weaker. This is the worst Hotel I have ever been in in my life! I would be ashamed to own a Hotel like that!
