Amazing Race 9 Hotel Report: And So It Begins Again

Where: Av. Brigadeiro Luis Antonio, 4700, Jardim Paulista, Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil

Staten Island girls! Angry husband and wife! "Friends" from San Francisco! Old couple! Glamazon sisters! Competitive couple! Nerdy couple! Frat Boys! Team Boricua! Barbie and Ken! Another pair of male "lifelong friends"!

So here we go again with our Amazing Race 9 Hotel reports.

Thanks to our kid brother, Jaunted you will be able to keep track of every spot on the globe these teams hit.

First clue and hotel was at the Hotel Unique in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Too bad the teams couldn't stay there although one of the Glamazons said, "This is my kind of hotel."

One recent guest who did stay over had this to say:

Designed by a leading Brazilian architect of Japanese decent, this place rocks. From the uber-cool building design, to the stunning lobby, comfortably trendy rooms and rooftop restaurant/bar/pool, it is about as hip as they come. While not cheap, it is also a deal compared to similar hotels in London, Paris and Rome. The only downside is that it is a bit out of the way from the major business/shopping areas around Avenida Paulista.

As we saw on the show, traffic can be a pain in the city, especially if you don't know where you are going so we suggest bringing along a map.
