Instant warmth from the receptionist, who smiles hello as if she means it.
We're down with any hotel review that half quotes a killers song in the very first paragraph. Sure, by the end of the review we felt like we were reading the pages of a J. Peterman catalog, written by Elaine Benes, however, The Pier Hotel in Harwich seems adjective worthy.
4 quiet, understated rooms, some looking out over Harwich's old harbor were enough for Times Online reviewer Christopher Somerville to get over the somewhat warn rooms and the middle of the night boat noise.
