Needle in a Haystack: WiFi Heaven in Spain

With so many levels of hotel internet service, it's hard to climb the ladder and find the top--WiFi heaven that is. From no internet at all to lobby-only signals, we sometimes feel lucky when its available throughout the hotel. But more often than not the room signal is so weak, we're moving around more than surfing.

Lo and behold a recent discovery of WiFi heaven and in Spain nonetheless. Hotel Ciutat de Girona not only provides free and strong WiFi but they also provide a laptop:

Great hotel, very clean, modern rooms and facilities. Free WiFi and they even had laptops for use in your room. Perfect ideal location for seeing Girona on foot (the city is quite small and very walkable). Great staff, very helpful and friendly, and spoke English. Great breakfast included in rate and the free mini bar and robe/slippers were a huge hit with the kids. We had 2 rooms with 3 children and they gave us adjoining rooms, which is quite rare in our experience in Spain. Can't say enough good things about this hotel.

Providing laptops for guests surely beats the ancient computers often found in the lobby's business centers. Will this be the next step in the hotel WiFi trend?
