La Quinta Inn in Franklin, Tenn., might want to consider beefing up its security as it was recently robbed by a man with a stick.

The clerk [told police] that a man had been in and out of the lobby several times then came back wielding a "large stick" and wearing socks on his hands and a shirt to hide his face. The man demanded money then fled on foot.

A suspect was arrested for the stick-wielding burglary, but the hotel clerk remains terrified of large sticks.
