Spring Cleaning with Evian

For the French, there is only one way to cleanse a cheese-bogged system. Evian. Not only the water, but a vacation in the actual city of Evian. And there is only one place worth staying, the five- star Hotel Royal Parc.
The hotel is designed to help you detox and relax with the benefits of the regions' healing water aided by top-notch spas and fully loaded gyms. The downside? The hotel also seems to be designed to lure you to its amazing restaurants (there's 10 of them) inducing French feasts that counteract one's idea of becoming tres cleansed.
Overall luxury, taste, and relaxation are a given in the surroundings of the mountainous region overlooking Lake Geneva which separates France from Switzerland. The full service kid's program is also a major draw to the resort as ditching one's kids is perhaps the most relaxing part of it all.
Starting at just over $200 a night, expect to be indulged and as for the cleansing...well what is that old adage, water turns to wine...right?
