BMX Fans Also Invade Hotels

If you want to head to Evansville, IL, you better hurry!

Like members of the "NASCAR Nation", BMX fans are descending upon the city for a tournament this weekend.

The tournament is expected to draw more than 600 riders and of course, their entourages.

The Evansville Convention and Visitor Bureau officials say that if you don't book a room now, you will not get one and have to spend the rest of your life cursing yourself for not acting sooner.

A anti-climatic quote from a Visitor Bureau official:

"Well, we have 3900 hotel rooms. We're hoping to fill all of those, as well as hotels in Henderson and Princeton, and all around here."

Also some sort of Freedom Festival is happening in town, and the Blue Angels are expected to make an appearance.

Since we have no idea where Evansville is, or what goes on there, we can't really explain that.
