Despite its stately name, you might want to check out Cowley Manor is a place where you can stare at young, skinny, glam swimmers in an environment that seems to please everyone--meaning most guests are impressed with the scenery and the service--a rare bird.

The pool checks off all the appropriate hip boxes--infinity edge, and mosaic tiles, while the rooms claim to be designy, funky, yet unpretentious spaces. Most Cowley visitors seem to agree.

According to one recent guest, this place may have you comparing every other hotel to the "Cowley Standard"--high praise.

We haven't yet stayed in a better hotel anywhere on the planet, and I doubt we ever will. In fact we constantly find ourselves checking-in elsewhere, muttering "It's not Cowley".

Trying to think of a negative... oh, they didn't replace the shower gel one day - shocking.
