An Italian Alps Hotel That Has Much More than Skiing

Courmayeur, Italy...think snowcapped mountains and nearby slopes, cozy firelit rooms with plush old-world furniture, cupid figurine light fixtures, oversized Jacuzzis. You're probably booking your room right now, right?

Ski buff or not, the Hotel Romantik Novecento in Courmayeur is so charming that non-skiers should be able to enjoy day after day of lounging in the spa or drinking some Italian wine by the fire. And as if the charming rooms weren't enough it's still Italy so amazing cuisine from the hotel's restaurant Novecento is also a part of the package. But don't worry, there's a full fitness center and spa here to work off that fettucine if you don't ski.

A recent guest seemed to find no wrong with the Hotel Romantik Novecento:

Excellent food (the best we had in town) and efficient and very friendly service - Stefano on the front desk deserves a special mention, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Good location. A five minute walk from the centre of town. Very good value for money and would definitely stay again if in Courmayeur.

Now if only they had WiFi. We'll try to let the view of the Alps, bottle of Chianti and Jacuzzi help us get over this one.
