Rat Attack

If you thought bed bugs were bad, think again. On a dark and stormy November night, two hotel guests were bitten in bed... by a RAT!

England's Windermere Hydro hotel in the Lake District faces legal action after Steve Harris and his 3-year-old son, Cameron were bitten by a rat in their sleep. Both underwent hospital treatment. Since the incident the family has not been able to sleep easily, (would you?) and are suing the hotel owners, Lakes Hotel Limited, for compensation.

Hotel owners suspect the rat got in through an open window.  Perhaps it wanted room service?

Managing director of Lakes Hotel Limited apologized and stated,

We were very, very sorry it happened and it was a terrible ordeal. But we believe that with our pest control plans and contracts, we have done everything physically possible to keep pests out of the building.
