In one of the worst campus shootings in American history, a gunman opened fire twice on the Virginia Tech campus, killing at least 21 people, according to various news reports and university officials.

Right now, the Inn at Virginia Tech has been designated by the university as a meeting spot for families looking to reunite with the students.

Update: The reported number of dead has risen to 33, making it the worst shooting in U.S. history.
