RedHot, Virgin Express's inflight magazine, gave the Hotel Le Beauvallon top billing in their "Hot Travel" section this month.

"Hotel Le Beauvallon, where some of F. Scott Fitzgerald's writing was said to have been inspired, is far and away the best place to stay in the area."

Overlooking the Bay of St Tropez, this belle-époque palace was first constructed in 1914. Panoramic views of the terrace and pool can be accessed on their website.

Daily rates are more reasonable during low season beginning April 8. However, an even better deal can be found by prebooking their special "Escapades au Beauvallon" package.
