'Posh' Hotel for Footballer Wives

This pic of Posh Spice aka Mrs. Beckham was snapped outside the £1,000-a-night Brenner's Park Hotel in Baden-Baden, Germany where England's footballer wives have been staying during the World Cup.

Naturally, footballers put their wives and special lady friends up in the finest digs around. Located in the middle of Lichtentaler Park, the hotel is described as an Old-World Palace with several Villa annexes. The rooms are decorated in an English country style with large marble bathrooms. But the hotel's spa and fitness center is probably where the wives will spend most of their time outside the stadium.

The fitness and spa facilities are among the best I have seen: large fitness room and bar facing the garden, Roman-style pool opening on the garden, where guests can relax in the summer, sauna, steam room and whirlpools in a separate area.

Too bad, the spa can't help Posh put on some weight or at least some better clothes.

Say Ahhhhhhh to The Hotel Atlantic in Baden-Baden, Germany.

On a recent trip to this small resort town in Western Germany, I couldn't help but envy the guests who were sunning themselves on the brookside patio cafe of The Atlantic. So, I joined them!

There are numerous hotels in Baden-Baden, well known for its thermal waters, but The Atlantic is a class act.
