Rolling out Red Carpet For Saudi Soccer Team

The 2006 Soccer World Cup is just around the corner. If you got tickets and a hotel room, consider yourselves one of the lucky ones. And if you plan on staying at the Hotel Dolce Bad Nauheim, north of Frankfurt, don't count on getting drunk after the games and watching some porn.

The Saudi Arabian team is staying in 59 rooms there and in order to accomodate their Muslim religious beliefs:

The pictures of naked women are being removed from the hotel's health spa, the hard-core porn channels being switched off and all alcohol will be removed from the mini-bars before Saudi Arabia arrives. All 123 hotel staff members have also been taking eight hour courses in sensitivity training.

The soccer players will however get to spend their downtime watching entertainment in the hotel's Art-Nouveau-Style theater, do swimming laps in the hotel's newly renovated indoor pool or stoll along outside on the street named Elvis Presley Platz.
