Hotel Wedding Crashers: No Room at the Inn for a White Wedding
A while back we took a look at the Glynn House Inn in New Hampshire and deemed it a perfect place for a romantic getaway.
However, thanks to a recent commenter, it is not a perfect place for a wedding.

Plaza Inn Ashland Creek's Broken Promises
We get angry when the hotel informs us that the hotel room we have reserved is not available. But imagine reserving this room a year in advance only to have the hotel tell you that the room you desire is not possible to have.
This is what happend to a couple who visits the Plaza Inn of Ashland in Oregon every year. Each time, they reserve the "Spa King Room" and makes a reservation for the following year at check-out. But this year things didn't quite work out.
This year the Plaza Inn's staff, Aaron and Andy decided they were not going to accommodate our wishes. They gave us a small room with no amenenites, a shower/tub combo the size of those found in RVs. The noise level from outside was very loud. We could hear every step from the room above, as well as the stairwell door located next to us. We checked out of the hotel the next morning without getting any sleep. The concierge service at this hotel is horrible. We were not compensated in any way for our awful stay, just told that our room wasn't available a year ago when we reserved. Funny, how nobody mentioned that fact then, or when I confirmed a month before our stay.
The hotel promises "unique service" so we guess they stood in line with that ideal.

Glynn House Inn: New Hampshire's Romantic Getaway

Thinking about heading to the ‘Shire for a romantic getaway?
If so check out the Glynn House in Ashland, NH. This thirteen room Victorian B&B is not right on the lake, but it is centrally located, and has that old fashioned romantic vibe.
Double Whirlpool baths, cozy rooms, and televisions equipped with cable (not something you get at some New England B&B’s) make this the perfect stop for a night during the New England off-season (October through April).
This Inn is definitely different then some of the “family” oreiented B&B’s in the area, and it skews romantic. So if you are looking for a weekend-get-away to the Lakes & Mt. Washington of NH with your beau, you’ll want to check this place out.
