Mini-Bars Under Attack Down Under

Everyone complains about hotel mini-bar prices. It's just a part of the experience. We like to fake an attitude that we'll never pay twenty dollars for a shot of vodka but, late into the night somehow these notions tend to leave us.

Yet to plan a robbery solely based on those mini-bar goodies is a little beyond us. In this case the deed was an Aussie operation, so who knows what their motives were.

Police are looking for thieves who broke into a Lavington hotel early yesterday morning and stole items from three suites. About 1.30am the group used a ladder to climb over the fence of the Quality Resort Siesta Hotel, in Wagga Rd, Lavington. They entered the hotel through one of the front doors and after attempting to break into seven suites they forcibly entered three rooms and stole $100 worth of alcohol from mini-bars.

We know the Aussies like to drink, but couldn't they have at least snagged a TV on their way out?
